R’Newal
Trane’s R’newal™ Service Programconsists of inspection and upgrade services by Trane to bring a Trane model RTHA, RTHB, or RTAA compressor’s reliability and performance to the equivalence of the chiller when it was new. This renewal is performed by Trane using both field and factory personnel. With each renewal, a new compressor nameplate and compressor warranty is issued.
Trane’s R’newal Service Program Can:
- Alleviate unexpected breakdowns. Compressor maintenance can be done on a predictive basis. This minimizes costs of future repairs while increasing the reliability of equipment.
- Alleviate unacceptable life cycle costs. While compressor wear is not preventable, catastrophic compressor failure can be reduced.
- Provide the option of managing the risk of Series R chiller failure as a maintenance expense instead of a capital expense. Series R chiller R’newal can be 1/4 the cost of replacing the chiller.
- Conform to high environmental standards. All existing unit refrigerant seals and gaskets are replaced as part of the retrofit, safely containing the chiller’s refrigerant charge over the life of the equipment.
