“Often service contract options are the last thing considered when purchasing an EMS (Energy Management Systems), yet without proper maintenance and operation, these expensive and sophisticated systems frequently end up under used, overridden, and blamed for any number of operation and maintenance problems. For an EMS to remain cost-effective, long-term maintenance should be considered early in the project planning phase.”

“Trane did a great job replacing our old chiller plant at Columbia Square. Trane replaced two chillers, installed new VFD motors and drives on our chilled water and condenser water pumps. This complete chiller plant replacement also included new total plant operating control. The new plant uses 45% less kWh than the original and reduces our peak kW load. Stan McIntyre of Trane was the general contractor and did the work without delay or added cost. We are very happy with the design build process used by Trane and with the final results.”

“The folks at Trane did a great job replacing our chiller and updating our chilled and condenser water systems at our main office in Salem Oregon. Trane engineered and coordinated the replacement of one of our chillers in a very tight location in our basement, provided new drives for the condenser and chilled water systems and redesigned the piping of the chilled and condenser water loops to work with the new higher efficiency chiller. Trane also was the main driving force in working with the Energy Trust of Oregon in helping us to recoup some costs in performing the upgrades to the building HVAC systems leading to lower operating costs and shorter payback times. We are very pleased with the timeliness and the way the work was performed. Everyone involved with the project was very professional and courteous and we look forward to the next project and working with Trane again.”

“TraneOregon pulled through for us in a difficult situation on a hot day. The drive went out on our RTU II unit. TraneOregon had the unit in stock and was able to get us up and running before things got uncomfortable for our tenants.”
