Toronto – Dec. 12, 2011 – Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort systems and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, today announced the launch of Tracer™ XT, a platform based on GE software technology that improves the performance and efficiency of data centers.

Tracer XT was developed in response to data center customer requests for more ways to reduce energy consumption, improve building operations and optimize system management. Energy reduction is more important than ever. The world’s data centers are expected to consume 19 percent more energy in the next 12 months than they have in the past year, according to results of a global industry census conducted by DatacenterDynamics. Energy-efficiency upgrades can earn bonus incentives this fall

Energy Trust of Oregon helps businesses upgrade now, save now

PORTLAND, Ore — August 24, 2011 — Energy Trust of Oregon is helping commercial and industrial businesses who may be impacted by changes to Oregon state energy tax credits by providing bonus cash incentives for qualified lighting upgrades and custom capital energy-efficiency improvements. To be eligible for these bonus incentives, a project must be enrolled with Energy Trust September 1 or later and be completed by December 15, 2011. The bonus incentives are for eligible projects served by Energy Trust’s Existing Buildings, Existing Multifamily and Production Efficiency programs. Read more…
